Bachpan ki yaadein

One of the fowarded email I received had the following attachments which brought the memories of good old serials on Doordarshan channel, a decade or two ago.

For those who grew up watching Doordarshan, its indeed a delight to listen to title tracks:

  4. Oh Manasa, thank you so much for compiling them all here.
    Wonderful
    loved all of these.
maybe i didnt value them so much at the time i was watching them, but they bring back memories of hurried dinners, and running to get paper pen-during surabhi, to note down stuff,
And its all available at a click now, amazing were those days of discovery.

  11. I was a sucker for Chitrahar and Rangoli, used to get them recorded even:), Teh there was this Katha sagar--where they used to show small stories from different regional literature. I really wonder that we have such a vast treasure of literature, why TV serials are not made from them.
Recently i saw the rerun of Vyomkesh Bakshi:)
